The Nigeria First Movement (NFM) has appointed Dr. Dahiru Muhammad as chairman, Dr. Bello Maigari as deputy director General (North) and Joyce GagaOghene as director in charge of Diaspora.
Its Director General, Henry Nwabueze, in a statement, said NFM, an initiative of connect Nigeria first, was duly registered and it is dedicated to promoting good governance, national development and citizen engagement in Nigeria.
The appointment, according to him, was in recognition of their exceptional leadership, administrative expertise and philanthropic endeavours, which aligned with the organisation’s mission to make Nigeria safe and great again.
“The appointments are subject to the rules and regulations stipulated in the organisation’s bye laws.
“Aside from the official appointment, each of the appointments has offered them the opportunity to become citizen ambassadors of the movement as the organisation is confident that their leadership would inspire positive change in Nigeria.
“The national executive council of the Nigeria first movement urged them to put in their best in the service of the organisation and Nigeria at large.
“In order to achieve these noble objectives, the organisation seeks to promote Nigeria’s development, protect citizens interests and foster a more prosperous and equitable society.”
