Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurial reality television show, Betano, The Next Titan Nigeria, has officially unveiled Season 11, promising a bigger competition, wider opportunities and a ₦50 million grand prize aimed at discovering and empowering the country’s next generation of business leaders.
The announcement was made during the programme’s pre-season brunch and official press conference in Lagos, where the Executive Producer, Mide Akinlaja, reaffirmed the show’s commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and youth development.
Speaking at the event, Akinlaja said the reality show was established with a clear vision of identifying promising entrepreneurs, equipping them with practical business knowledge, connecting them with industry leaders as mentors and inspiring millions of Nigerians to embrace entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic prosperity.
According to him, Season 11, themed “Be The Relentless,” will be the biggest edition yet, featuring an expanded competition format and increased opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs across the country.
“This platform exists not simply to entertain but to inspire, educate, empower and create the next generation of business leaders,” he said.
He noted that auditions will commence in August in Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Enugu, where talented entrepreneurs will compete for a place in the competition.
Successful applicants will progress to a three-day Top 50 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp designed to test their business knowledge, leadership potential and resilience through intensive training and practical challenges.
From the boot camp, only 20 contestants will earn a place in the Titan House, where they will compete over ten weeks in a series of business-related tasks, boardroom sessions, mentorship programmes and weekly eliminations.
Throughout the competition, contestants will tackle real-life entrepreneurial challenges involving sales, marketing, advertising, promotions, business strategy and corporate social responsibility while receiving guidance from some of Nigeria’s leading business executives.
Akinlaja said the programme remains focused on addressing youth unemployment by encouraging young Nigerians to build sustainable businesses capable of creating jobs and driving economic growth.
He explained that the reality show goes beyond entertainment by providing practical entrepreneurial education for both contestants and millions of viewers who follow the weekly episodes.
Reflecting on the programme’s impact over the past decade, he revealed that winners from the previous ten seasons have successfully established businesses across various sectors, with many becoming employers of labour, while numerous former contestants have also transformed lessons from the competition into thriving enterprises.
According to him, the show’s objective is to identify talented entrepreneurs, nurture their business potential through mentorship, informal training, logistics support and exposure, and provide deserving participants with the resources needed to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures.
Also speaking on the partnership, Akinlaja expressed appreciation to Betano for returning as the title sponsor for a second consecutive season, describing the collaboration as a shared commitment to youth empowerment and enterprise development.
“We are investing in dreams, building future business leaders and contributing to Nigeria’s economic development,” he said.
Daniel Lamberti, Senior Business Development Advisor for Betano in Africa, said supporting another season of the programme reflects the company’s long-term commitment to Nigeria and its desire to invest in partnerships that create meaningful impact within local communities.
Season 11 will air for ten weeks on major television stations across Nigeria and will feature mentorship from leading business personalities serving as judges and advisers.
