Labour Party stalwart in Abia State, Hon Iheanyichukwu Ugochukwu, has congratulated The Eze Ndigbo Ghana, HRM Eze Dr Chukwudi Ihenetu on the Iriji / New Yam Festival which took place on15th of September.
The festival attracted thousands of people from all walks of lifeas they converged to enjoy Igbo culture at its best.

In a special congratulatry message Prince Ugo described HRM Ihenetu, whom he has known for over 17 years as a kindhearted king with a heart of gold. “I got to know HRM Ihenetu about seventeen years ago before he became king. within these years and uptill now, I have worked closely with him and has discovered that he is a humble and diligent father.
“His emergence as king in Ghana has equally helped to unite Ndigbo in that country.
“Through his NGO, Eze Igbo Ghana and his wife Queen Mother, Liberty Ihenetu, has continued to put smiles on the face of the needy in Ghana and Nigeria Among the numerous things HRM Ihenetu has done includes ending the trade dispute between Ghana traders authority and Igbo traders in Ghana, assisting to rehabilitate and arrange for safe return of Nigerians stranded in Ghana to their loved ones,rescue of teenage Nigeriaan girls trafficked to Ghana for prostitution, building of schools,and many more “
