Newly posted Kano State Police Commissioner, Salman Dogo Garba has made an on the spot visit to the accident scene that claimed 25 lives and 53 others in the state..
The accident occurred at about 3.00 am on Monday after a trailer (IVECO) conveying cows and human passengers had a tragic accident at Dangwaro Flyover along Kano- Zaria Fly over in the outskirts of the metropolis.
Accompanied by top police officers in the state, the Commissioner prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased while offering condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased.

The police boss, thereafter. emphasized the importance of safe driving and accident prevention measures on the highways.
The Commissioner equally visited Sheka and Kwanar Goda Quarters in the state where he assessed clearance opérations conducted against thuggery and criminal activities in the area.
According to the statement issued by the spokesperson of the Command, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa the visit was part of the dedication of the Command to upholding the highest standard of professionalism and ensuring the safety and security of all Kano State residents.
