The departure date for intending pilgrims from Kano State has been moved to May 15.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Kano Pilgrims Welfare Board, Isa Dederi, on Monday said the date earlier scheduled for the airlift of pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2026 Hajj exercise had been adjusted from May 14 to May 15, 2026.
He said the change of date was due to recent adjustments in flight arrangements by Max Air.
He added that the affected pilgrims were those from Gwale, Dala, Fagge and Ungogo local government areas.
