NEMA provides food items to victims of windstorm in Taraba

Following a windstorm that rendered several persons homeless in Takum Local government area of Taraba State the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA has provided food items to the affected Communities. 
The intervention was in response to a request by the Member representing Takum/Donga/ Ussa Federal Constituency Hon. Mark B. Useni, to the Director-General of NEMA Mrs Zubaida Umar.
The affected Communities are in Dutse, Gahwetun, Tikari , Rogo and Manya wards in Takum local government.
Useni recalled that he had earlier provided roofing materials to the victims and thanked the Federal Government for yielding to his request for the people. He encouraged the people to support the Tinubu administration to succeed in its economic policies which will bring development and stability to the country.
Our Correspondent reports that the food items included 439 bags of rice, 439 bags of Maize , tomato paste, cooking oil and seasoning cubes.
