NELFUND: Testimony should keep Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso quiet forever – Onanuga

Onanuga

Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga said opposition leaders including Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso have lost the right to criticise policies of the Bola Tinubu administration forever.

Onanuga said this in an X post after a first-class graduate testified about the positive impact of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

In an X post earlier today, one Caleb Olugbenga Oladepo disclosed that he graduated as the best graduating student of Ladoke Akintola University of Science and Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho.

Tagging NELFUND, Oladepo said, “Your loans made it possible.”

Reacting, Onanuga said NELFUND is an intentional policy designed to increase access to education.

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy said the graduate’s testimony should keep the opposition quiet forever.

He said, “A testimony about President Tinubu’s policy impact that should keep Peter Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso quiet for ever.

“The NELFUND policy was intentional, to help students like Caleb, who would have been denied the dream of tertiary education, because of parental financial challenges.”
