Senator Ali Ndume has appealed to the Nigerian military to intensify security operations in his senatorial district to secure the release of students abducted in Borno State.

Speaking during an interview on Channel TV Politics Today, the senator urged the armed forces to redirect their attention to the affected area and prioritise efforts to rescue those still in captivity.

“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to the military to shift their attention now to my senatorial district and help us get these people back,” Ndume said.

The lawmaker’s appeal comes amid growing concern over the fate of the kidnapped students, with families and residents anxiously awaiting their safe return.

Ndume called for sustained security operations to ensure the victims are rescued and normalcy restored to communities affected by the abduction.
