Executive Management of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his re-nomination as President Bola Tinubu’s running mate for the 2027 presidential election, describing his leadership and support as critical to the company’s ongoing transformation.

Led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Adighije, the management team paid a courtesy visit to Shettima, who also chairs the NDPHC Board, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The visit came shortly after President Tinubu announced Shettima as his vice-presidential candidate for the 2027 election and served as a show of solidarity from the company’s leadership.

Receiving the delegation, the Vice President expressed appreciation for the visit and the goodwill extended by the management team.

Speaking on behalf of the executives, Adighije congratulated Shettima on his re-nomination and commended what she described as his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to strengthening NDPHC.

According to her, the Vice President’s guidance has helped reposition the company to better deliver on its mandate of driving strategic investments in Nigeria’s electricity sector.

“Your Excellency’s guidance and support have provided the enabling environment for NDPHC to consolidate its achievements and pursue its strategic objectives with renewed vigour. We are grateful for your continued commitment to the company’s success and to the broader development of Nigeria’s electricity value chain,” she said.

Adighije reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda through sustained investment in electricity infrastructure, improved energy security and initiatives aimed at expanding access to reliable power across the country.

She said NDPHC would continue to implement projects that strengthen Nigeria’s power infrastructure and contribute to economic growth and national development.

The company noted that the visit also reflected the close working relationship between its Board and Executive Management as they pursue reforms aimed at improving electricity supply and supporting the Federal Government’s development priorities.
