The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has told applicants for recruitment into agencies under the Ministry of Interior that they are not required to pay for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test (DIT).
The affected agencies are the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Federal Fire Service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The Agency said arrangements had been concluded for the test, which forms part of the recruitment process.
It explained that the Ministry of Interior had already made a bulk payment to cover the testing of its new intakes.

Candidates and personnel presenting for the exercise were therefore advised not to pay money to NDLEA officials, testing centres or through any other channel.
To ensure an orderly process, candidates are to access the NDLEA DIT portal through a designated link or access point to be provided on their institutional portals. There, they will register, complete the necessary documentation and proceed with the test without making additional payments.
The NDLEA thanked the Ministry of Interior for its cooperation and said it remained committed to a smooth, transparent and efficient exercise.
The notice was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Agency’s Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi.
