Ndigbo in Asia mourn Ojukwu, former president, Nigeria Community in China

The death has been announced of High Chief Sir Osita Ojukwu in China.

Until his death, Chief Ojukwu was President Ikenga Ndigbo Gburugburu Initiative. He was also former first president, African community and one time first president, Nigeria Community in China.

In a statement, Eze Ndigbo Mekong, Asia, HRH Eze (Amb) Jerome Uzochukwu Ezeneche paid glowing tribute to the late Ojukwu whom he described as a great philanthropist who helped brought Ndigbo and other Africans in Asia together. He said Ojukwu’s death is a great loss to Ndigbo in the Diaspora.

In his own tribute, president Ohanaeze Ndigbo Mekong, Engr C I Abadom described the late Ojukwu as a great bridge builder whose effort helped in uniting Ndigbo , Nigerians and Africans in Asia
Ezeneche  Nwatagwuosimiri who is also  king of six  nations that make up Mekong in South East Asia, prays that God gives Ojukwu’s family the fortitude to bear the loss.
