NDIC boss charges staff to prioritise customers’ needs

As Nigeria commemorates the 2024 Customer Service Week, Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Bello Hassan, has urged staff of the Commission, to prioritise customer needs and deliver exceptional service.

Hassan made the call during the 3rd edition of Customer Service Week at the NDIC Head Office, in Abuja on Tuesday.

Represented by Emily Osuji, Executive Director of Corporate Services, the MD highlighted the importance of this year’s theme, “Above and Beyond,” noting that it embodies the spirit of collaboration and reflects the Corporation’s commitment to delivering exceptional service to its stakeholders.

The NDIC boss also commended employees for their dedication, particularly in ensuring timely payments to depositors of the failed Heritage Bank. He stressed that exceptional customer service is a collective responsibility that enhances the Corporation’s reputation.

“Let us celebrate the power of outstanding service, foster collaboration with our colleagues, and promote a culture of effective service delivery.

“I also urge you all to embrace this week, which will be filled with insights, inspirations, and innovations. Let us join forces to elevate the standard of service excellence, striving to make every interaction meaningful, every

service unforgettable, and to exceed customer expectations,” he said.
