There is no let-up in the crisis that has engulfed the Nigeria Democratic Congress( NDC) over the outcome of its primary election.
A former House of Representatives and Edo South Senatorial District aspirant, Ehiozuwa Agbonyinwa had slammed the national leader of the party, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, for engineering his exclusion from the election.
Agbonyinwa, who described his defection from the All Progressive Congress(APC) to the NDC as “moving from frying pan to fire’’ claimed that he won the direct primaries after the consensus arrangement collapsed.

The aggrieved party man lamented that more than a week after the election, the NDC leadership has refused to release the results of the election, putting several of them and several other aspirants on the edge.
In Bayelsa, a political group, Team Wilson 2027, has warned against alleged attempts to overturn the outcome of the primary election held for Sagbama Constituency II.
In Ekeremor, aggrieved party members have raised alarm over attempts to change the outcome of the primaries in Ekeremor Constituency III.
The members who vowed to resist any imposition of a candidate other than the winner warned that the party risk mass defection if it yields to pressure and alters the results of the primary election.
