The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has promoted former Customs Area Controller of Tin Can Island Customs Port Command, Frank Onyeka, to the rank of Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) of Customs.

This was announced while handing over to the Comptroller, Joe Anani, formerly of PTML Customs Command, who took over from him.

ACG Onyeka listed the achievements made during his tenure and dedicated his strides to professionalism and commitment to other officers and men, who worked under him in the command. He said the achievements were not accidental, but a product of discipline, intelligence-driven operations, improved compliance strategies, robust stakeholder engagement and the deployment of modern trade facilitation mechanisms, aimed at balancing enforcement with legitimate trade.
