The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has felicitated the Muslim community in Nigeria for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Sallah that accompanies the holy month.
Bishop Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of the Commission, in a statement on Sunday, enjoined Muslims to ensure that the lessons and blessings of Ramadan guide them on the right path of life.

He said that it is not a coincidence that both Ramadan and the Lenten season for Christians happened simultaneously, stating that it was providential that the two dominant faiths had to wait on the Lord at a time like this in the history of Nigeria.
He urged them to celebrate moderately with one another and extend a hand of fellowship to the less privileged, also urging them to continue to uphold President Bola Tinubu in prayer so that the Renewed Hope agenda of his administration would impact the people of Nigeria.
He admonished them to pray for the wellbeing of the President and those in leadership positions in Nigeria at the federal, state, and local government levels, equally urging them to pray for the peace and stability of Nigeria, stressing that no nation can achieve any meaningful development without peace.
