The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in collaboration with Olafrankies Integrated Ltd has concluded a five-day training programme on subsea engineering and production.
The training, which took place from January 5 to 9 in Lagos, brought together professionals from the oil and gas industry to enhance their skills and knowledge in subsea engineering and production.
The programme, which covered subsea systems, pipeline engineering and production operations was designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in subsea engineering and production and to promote Nigerian content in the oil and gas industry.
The representative of Olafrankies Integrated Ltd, Uzorchukwu Henry Obiora, lauded the NCDMB for the initiative, saying that it was a significant step towards developing local capacity and capabilities in the oil and gas industry. He charged the beneficiaries to use the knowledge and skills acquired to excel in their careers and contribute to the development of the industry.
The partnership aims to develop local capacity and capabilities in the oil and gas industry and to promote sustainable development in the sector. The programme is part of the efforts to enhance the skills and competencies of Nigerian professionals in the industry.
Participants expressed gratitude to NCDMB and Olafrankies Integrated Ltd for the opportunity to participate in the training program.
They noted that the programme had enhanced their understanding of subsea engineering and production and that they were better equipped to contribute to the development of the oil and gas industry.
