The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has partnered with Augoe and Sons Company Nigeria Limited to train 50 Delta youths in motorcycle assembly, repairs and maintenance. The one-month training programme was aimed to equipping young Nigerians with globally competitive technical skills, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial prospects.

The training covered various aspects of motorcycle maintenance, including engine basics, electrical systems, suspension, brakes and troubleshooting. At the end of the training, all the 50 participants received NCDMB-endorsed certificates and startup kits consisting of electrical and mechanical tools.
According to the representative of Augoe and Sons Nigeria Limited, the initiative aligns with the NDCMB human capacity development mandate, which is focused on empowering Nigerians with skills that meet industry standards. The programme’s success is evident in the 100 percent completion rate and the participants’ newfound skills, which are expected to boost their economic prospects.
