The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in partnership with King-Fahji Nigeria Limited, has successfully concluded a five-day intensive training on Quality Auditing and ISO 9001:2015 Certification for 50 participants in Kaduna State.
The programme, which ran from July 27 to 31, was designed to build indigenous capacity in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and equip Nigerian professionals with globally recognised skills in ISO 9001:2015 implementation, internal auditing and continual improvement.
Participants were taken through all the core clauses of ISO 9001:2015, including leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement.
The curriculum also covered risk-based thinking, process approach, documentation, internal audit techniques, nonconformity management and the full certification process.
The training methodology combined expert-led lectures, case studies, group exercises, role plays and mock audits to ensure practical understanding. Pre and post-training assessments were conducted to measure knowledge transfer.
In his remarks, the CEO of King-Fahji, Idi Presley, commended the participants for their commitment and engagement throughout the week. He noted that the hands-on approach ensured that participants left with not just theory, but tools they could immediately apply in their organisations.
Participants expressed appreciation to the organisers for the opportunity, describing the training as timely, practical and impactful. Many said the knowledge gained would help their companies improve quality standards and become more competitive.
As part of the programme, all the 50 participants received starter packs, including laptops, branded items, training manuals, financial support and certificates of participation.
