The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in collaboration with Chelfom Engineering & Construction Company Nigeria Limited has concluded a five-day training for 30 persons on Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act Compliance.
The training, which ran from December 15 to December 19, for 30 participants in Lagos, was aimed at equipping participants with a deep understanding of the NOGICD Act and its application in the oil and gas industry.

It covered key aspects of the Act, including compliance requirements, local content development and regulatory frameworks.
At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates, recognising their completion of the programme. The training is part of NCDMB’s efforts to promote local content development and ensure compliance with the NOGICD Act in the oil and gas industry.
The collaboration between NCDMB and Chelfom Engineering & Construction CO NIG LTD demonstrated their commitment to capacity building and human capital development in the oil and gas sector. The training is expected to enhance the participants’ ability to contribute to the growth and development of the industry.
