The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with AFN Global Services Limited, has commenced a training and rmpowerment programme on the installation and repairs of DSTV, CCTV Cameras and Starlink Systems for 50 youths in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The 10-day intensive programme will equip the participants with hands-on instruction on satellite dish installation and troubleshooting, CCTV system design, mounting and maintenance, as well as Starlink terminal setup and network configuration.
According to the AFN Global, the curriculum was designed to be practical, with field simulations to ensure beneficiaries are job-ready immediately after completion. Each of the 50 selected youths is expected to be equipped with startup tools and certification to enable them start their own businesses or secure employment in the growing tech and security services market.
Certificates of participation and empowerment kits will be presented to all beneficiaries at the end of the training on July 10.
