The Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), Dr. Angela Ajala, has charged Provosts of Colleges of Education across the country to strictly adhere to the newly introduced admission policy aimed at enhancing access to teacher education and strengthening the capacity of the institutions.

Speaking during a meeting with the provosts in Abuja, Dr. Ajala emphasized the need for all colleges of education to align their admission processes with the provisions of the new policy.

She noted that the policy complements ongoing reforms in the sector, including the Dual Mandate initiative and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which are designed to expand opportunities for prospective students and improve access to quality teacher education.
