The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted full accreditation to the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, to offer Higher National Diploma (HND) in Food Technology, Insurance, Printing Technology, Science Laboratory Technology (Biology Option), and Science Laboratory Technology (Biology/Microbiology Option).
The regulatory body also gave approval to the institution to commence National Diploma (ND) programme in Marketing.
This was contained in a letter of approval written by the Executive Secretary of NBTE, Prof. Idris Bugaje, to the Rector of the institution, Dr. Francisca Nwafulugo.
In her remarks, Dr. Nwafulugo expressed joy at the outcome of the exercise and thanked the NBTE boss for his support of the school.
