Nine-time winner of the NBBF/Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League, First Bank will open the Final 8 of the 2026 League season with a game against debutant, Victoria Queens at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
It will be a renewal of their rivalry from the Atlantic Conference where they shared the spoil with Victoria winning in the First Phase in Lagos before losing to First Bank in the Second Phase played in Port Harcourt.
With all the teams arriving Lagos on Monday (today), the draws which was conducted on Sunday saw MFM, Aso Sky Queens, Titans and Bayelsa Blue Whales in Group A while Nigeria Customs, First Bank, Victoria Queens and Air Warriors will compete in Group B.

Apart from the opening game, other matches scheduled for the opening day, Aso Sky Queens and Titans will take to the court for the second game, MFM will be up against Bayelsa Blue Whales with the final game of the day seeing Nigeria Customs against Air Warriors.
The group stage games are expected to end on October 1, with the top two from each group going to the semifinal and later final.
The Third Place game and final scheduled for October 3 to wrap up the 2026 season.
