Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has congratulated Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, urging residents to uphold the spirit of unity, faith, and compassion imbibed during Ramadan.

In her Sallah message to constituents, the lawmaker, who represents Kogi Central Senatorial District, described Eid-el-Fitr as a momentous spiritual event that reflects sacrifice, devotion, and complete submission to the will of Allah.

She said the festival provides an avenue for sober reflection, a recommitment to peaceful coexistence, and a renewed sense of collective responsibility towards the growth and development of the community.

“Eid Mubarak to the great people of Kogi Central. May this blessed season strengthen our unity, deepen our faith, and bring peace and prosperity to every home,” Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan said.

She stressed the importance of sustaining the virtues of patience, generosity, and selflessness cultivated during Ramadan, noting that they are critical to fostering a peaceful and progressive society.

Akpoti-Uduaghan added that the lessons of the holy month should encourage citizens to embrace tolerance, mutual respect, and support for one another, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.

“The spirit of sacrifice and compassion demonstrated during Ramadan should guide our daily interactions and strengthen our collective resolve to build a more peaceful and prosperous Kogi Central,” she added.

She further urged constituents to take advantage of the festive period to pray for enduring peace, stability, and development in Kogi State and Nigeria, emphasising that unity remains key to sustainable progress.

While wishing families joy, renewed hope, and abundant blessings as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, she reiterated her commitment to quality representation and inclusive development across all communities in the senatorial district and prayed that Allah would accept the sacrifices and supplications offered during Ramadan.
