In a stirring address to the Nasarawa United, chairman of the club, Prof. Othman Ibrahim Ahmed, delivered an impassioned message of unity, peace, and unwavering commitment.
This inspiring speech served as a clarion call to players, coaches, and all stakeholders affiliated with the club. The memorable event took place at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday immediately following the team’s morning training session.
Prof. Othman’s address commenced with a profound declaration of his mission as a catalyst for improvement rather than change. He emphasised, “I am not here to change anything but to improve on what you have done.” This statement carried a profound message, highlighting the Chairman’s determination to build upon the solid foundation already laid by the team.
The response from the players was enthusiastic and wholehearted. The team’s captain, King Osanga, stepped forward to express their collective happiness and unwavering support for Chairman.
In doing so, he echoed the sentiments of the entire squad of playing the NPFL again, reinforcing their belief that the Chairman was indeed the right person to lead the club towards greater achievements.
