Nasarawa Speaker praises PEPC verdict affirming Tinubu victory

In a resounding show of support, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has hailed the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) judgment affirming President Bola Tinubu as the duly elected President of Nigeria.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi in a statement signed by his press secretary, Jibril Gwamna sent to journalist on Thursday in Lafia congratulated President Tinubu and Vice President Senator Kashim Shettimah on their victory, along with the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

The Speaker described the court’s verdict as a manifestation of the Nigerian people’s mandate given to President Tinubu and the APC, emphasizing the importance of unity and support for the President’s success.

He also commended the judiciary for delivering landmark judgments that reflect the desires of Nigerians, highlighting the judiciary’s role as the last hope of the common man.

Additionally, Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi praised the APC lawyers for their comprehensive presentation of the case, which contributed to the victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

In another significant development, as Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State marked his One Hundred Days in office during his second term, Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi acknowledged the substantial progress achieved.

He noted that the Governor had laid a strong foundation for peace, unity, progress, and transformation in the State, with a focus on enhancing the State’s revenue base and making it attractive for investment.

The Speaker emphasized that the Government, during the last four years, had made significant strides, and the current administration had set machinery in motion for further consolidation of these achievements.

He called upon all citizens to continue supporting Governor Abdullahi Sule in his commitment to delivering positive developmental initiatives for the State.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi reaffirmed the Seventh Assembly’s dedication to providing the necessary support to ensure the governor’s success in his transformation agenda.
