Residents of Ningo Sambe, a community in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, erupted into wild jubilation as electricity was finally restored after enduring months of blackout. The community had been plunged into darkness following the vandalization of its transformer by yet-to-be identified perpetrators.
When Daily Sun Visited the community on Sunday, comrade Benjamin Ewuga, Chairman of the Nigerian Youth Movement (NYC) in Nasarawa state explained that the community was left in a state of despair as they struggled to cope without electricity.
“The vandalization of the transformer left us helpless, but hope was reignited when Architect Ishaya Duba Dodo stepped in to offer assistance.”
Sun Reports that Architect Ishaya Duba Dodo, an Abuja-based philanthropist, emerged as a beacon of hope for the community. With his intervention, the transformer was repaired, and electricity was restored on Saturday, May 25.
“We are immensely grateful to Architect Ishaya Duba Dodo for his selfless act of kindness,” expressed a community member. “He is truly a Godsend to humanity, and we pray for abundant blessings upon him.”
He addedThe restoration of electricity has brought immense relief to the residents of Ningo Sambe, who can now resume their daily activities without the constraints imposed by the blackout.
“We can finally see light at the end of the tunnel,” remarked another community member. “This restoration of electricity has revitalized our community and instilled a sense of hope for the future.”
Benjamin further said Architect Ishaya Duba Dodo’s philanthropic gesture has not gone unnoticed, with praises pouring in from all corners of the community.
“His generosity has touched the hearts of everyone in Ningo Sambe, We are eternally grateful for his support and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others.”
