NANS Southwest hails Uthman’s emergence as Oyo JCC chairman

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) South West, Zone D has congratulated Comrade Abdulazeez O. Uthman on his emergence as the newly-elected Chairman of NANS Joint Campus Council (JCC), Oyo State chapter.

This is contained in a Friday statement jointly signed by the Zonal Coordinator, Comrade Josiah Kayode Adeyemo and Zonal General Secretary, Babatunde Yussuf Ojetola, and sent to SunOnline.

The zonal leadership commended Uthman’s dedication, passion, and leadership potential, which it said have earned him the position.

“As you embark on this new journey, we urge you to prioritise unity among students and stakeholders in Oyo State.

“Your leadership is crucial in fostering a cohesive and inclusive environment that promotes academic excellence, student welfare, and collective growth,” the statement reads in part.

The zonal leadership advised the Oyo JCC chairman to engage with students, stakeholders and political gladiators in the state, listen to their concerns and work tirelessly to address them so as to foster the unity of the pacesetter state that Oyo is known for.

“Build bridges, not walls, and ensure your administration is transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the students,” the zonal leadership said.

NANS South West Zone emphasised its commitment to supporting Uthman’s leadership and working collaboratively to address challenges facing students in Oyo State.

“We are confident that with your vision, passion, and dedication, you will drive positive change and make a lasting impact.

“To the students of Oyo State, we urge you to rally behind your new leader, supporting him with cooperation and enthusiasm.

“Together, let’s build a stronger, more united student community.

“Uthman Abdulazeez, we wish you success in your new role. May your tenure be marked by progress, unity, and triumph,” the statement further reads.
