The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun Joint Campus Council, has congratulated Comrade Babatunde Ogunsanya on his emergence as Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Sapaade.
This was conveyed in a Saturday statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Comr. Faruq Olabode and General Secretary, Comrade Ogooluwakiitan Ojo.
The NANS Ogun JCC leadership described Ogunsanya’s election as “well-deserved.”
The statement reads, “Your emergence is a testament to the confidence and trust your colleagues have reposed in your leadership, competence, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of academic excellence and institutional development.”
NANS Ogun JCC expressed confidence that the new ASUP chairman’s tenure “will foster unity, protect the welfare of academic staff, and further strengthen the relationship between the management, staff, and students of the institution for the overall growth of Gateway ICT Polytechnic.”
The council, described as the apex students’ body in Ogun State, said it looks forward to “a cordial working relationship with your administration in promoting quality education, industrial harmony, and policies that will continue to benefit the student community.”
