The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has congratulated Barrister Habeeb Whyte on his appointment as Principal Legal Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).

This is contained in a statement signed by National Public Relations Officer of NANS, Comrade Samson Ajasa Adeyemi and sent to Daily Sun on Thursday.

NANS said this “meritorious” appointment reflects Whyte’s remarkable legal expertise, steadfast commitment to youth advocacy, and consistent pursuit of excellence in his professional journey.

“As a role model to young Nigerians, we are confident that he will discharge his responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and uphold the ethical standards of the FCCPC,” the national student body.

NANS said it acknowledged and appreciated the invaluable contributions of Hon. Kamorudeen Yusuf, Personal Assistant to the President on Special Duties, and Dr. Sulaimon Lateef Adegboyega, whose efforts were pivotal in realising this “historic” appointment.

It said their dedication to fostering youth empowerment and supporting the student constituency in Ogun State is truly laudable.

“This development underscores the importance of recognising and supporting young talents who are committed to national progress.

“NANS remains committed to advocating for opportunities that elevate Nigerian students and youths across all spheres.

“Once again, we celebrate Barrister Habeeb Whyte and express our profound gratitude to all who made this appointment possible,” the statement further reads.
