The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said its Air Component under the Joint Task Force North-East of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), has bombarded a stronghold of terrorists in the west of Zuwa in the Sambisa general area of Borno State killing fifteen terrorists.
In a statement, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said the bombardment was based on credible intelligence and confirmatory surveillance, noting that the mission targeted hideouts harbouring fighters and commanders responsible for recent hostilities around Bitta.

He said the strikes proved devastating, resulting in over 15 terrorists being neutralized, adding that key structures critical to their operations were demolished.
This latest success underscores the NAF’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians while supporting ground troops in joint operations to dismantle terrorist networks.
He said the Nigerian Air Force has continued to stand as a symbol of vigilance, professionalism, and decisive airpower in defence of national security, adding that every successful strike brings Nigeria one step closer to lasting peace.
