Multiple award-winning Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has opened up about the level of trust in her marriage, revealing that her husband has no issue with her sharing romantic scenes, including kissing other actors as part of her profession.

The actress made the revelation during an appearance on The Morayo Show, where host Morayo Afolabi-Brown asked whether her husband ever gets jealous because of the demands of her acting career.

Responding, Abraham dismissed the suggestion, saying there was no cause for concern in their relationship, although she once questioned a post she saw on her husband’s social media page.

When asked specifically whether her husband was uncomfortable with her kissing Gabriel Afolayan in a movie, the actress said he had no problem with it.

“I can even kiss anybody. Gabriel is my guy,” she said, stressing that such scenes are strictly professional.

Abraham also noted that she enjoys cordial relationships with many of her colleagues and their spouses, adding that while acting may require intimate scenes, she draws the line at infidelity.

“Most of my colleagues’ wives are comfortable with me. I can do every other thing, but adultery is not even one of them. God forbid it. I don’t do it,” she said.

Speaking about Nollywood’s box-office trends, the actress explained that many filmmakers traditionally release movies in December because the festive season attracts larger cinema audiences, as more people are on holiday.

However, she noted that recent box office performances have shown that successful films can thrive outside the festive period.

Referring to a recent blockbuster, Abraham praised the achievement of her colleagues, saying, “In December, everybody is at home. But God just showed us how powerful He is. I’m proud of Dami and Blessing. It did over ₦700 million, and it’s not even the festive period.”
