My goal is to give back through songs –Teedollz

Hereford-based Nigerian artiste, Emmanuel Pius, popularly known as Teedollz, is steadily carving a niche for himself in the United Kingdom’s music scene, blending Afrobeat, soul, pop and inspirational music while using his craft to promote community engagement and cultural exchange.

With more than 18 years of experience as a singer, music producer, sound engineer, drummer and pianist, Teedollz has built a reputation for his versatility and commitment to creating music that resonates across cultures.

Born and raised in Nigeria, the musician began his career in church choirs and recording studios, where he developed a signature sound rooted in Afrobeat, soul and faith-inspired themes. Before relocating to the UK, he had established himself within the West African music industry through collaborations, music production and live performances.

Now based in Hereford, Teedollz has become an active figure in the city’s creative community, performing at festivals, entertaining audiences through busking sessions in the city centre, and recording new music with local producers.

Speaking about his passion, the artist said music is more than entertainment, describing it as a tool for inspiring hope and fostering unity.

“I don’t just make music. I want to lift people, bring communities together, and share my story. Music is a universal language; wherever I go, it connects us all,” he said.

Beyond his personal career, Teedollz said he is committed to supporting the growth of the local music industry by collaborating with fellow artistes and participating in community-based events. He is also pursuing endorsement under the UK’s Global Talent Visa programme, a pathway designed to recognise individuals with exceptional talent in their respective fields.

His recent activities include performing at the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Summer Hangout, securing airplay on Nigerian radio stations and expanding his catalogue of original songs across major digital streaming platforms.

Outside music, Teedollz works full-time in the care sector, balancing his professional responsibilities with his passion for the arts.

Looking ahead, the singer plans to release more music, embark on live performances across the UK and establish a record label dedicated to discovering and mentoring emerging talents.

“Hereford and the UK have welcomed me warmly. My goal now is to give back through my music, my performances and by creating opportunities for the next generation of artistes,” he said.
