Pastor Lazarus Muoka, The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Ijesha, Lagos, has called on Nigerians to know that God has seen the afflictions they have been subjected to and has come to redeem them.
He, therefore, called on the citizens to use the occasion of the three-day programme in his church to seek answers to their afflictions.
It was gathered that The Lord’s Chosen which is 21 this week is inviting everyone to her 3-day programme with the theme “Only God can Do this,” holding between 24th and 26th December, 2023 at her church premises.
Speaking through the church’s Public Relations Officer, Pastor Louis Chidi, Muoka stated that “the economic and political afflictions ravaging the country and its citizens will melt when we bring down the glory of God through praises.
“It does not matter the circumstances of your challenges or how long you have been in that situation or who is behind your predicaments; our assurance is that God is using the occasion of this 21st anniversary to bless the country.”
He added that “God is not ignorant of the suffering of His people,” assuring that “at the appointed time, He will show His power over the enemies of His people. And this is what He is coming to do in this programme so that the people shall breathe and be blessed – and only Him can do that.”
Continuing he said: “Something great will happen as we thank and praise God in the programme. The participants shall experience the glory of God in a greater dimension that will positively affect their entire beings regardless of how ugly it may seem to be.
“The three-day power-packed programme is designed to return all glory to God for all He has done for us and above all commemorate the 21 years in pursuit of our threefold vision and mandate of ten billion souls for the Kingdom of heaven which only God can do.”
In his sermon, “In the Lord it is over,” he called on Nigerians not to give up on the challenging situations facing the country saying: “It is a common knowledge that many people are going through terrible situations in life and some have come to a point that people are asking them ‘where is their God?’ This is because they have done so many things humanly possible to be free from such bad situations without success; and instead of getting solution to their problems things are getting worse and multiplying even to the extent that some have given up hope already. It is like God and human beings have abandoned them to their fate.”
Then he added: “There is hope for you; you are coming out of that ugly situation.”
