MTN Nigeria secures 4 major wins at 2025 Consumers Value Awards

MTN Nigeria has achieved landmark success at the Consumers Value Awards (CVA) 2025, earning accolades that further solidify its position as a consumer favourite and industry leader.

Following an open and transparent consumer voting process at the 2025 edition of the Consumers Value Awards, the tech company secured four key honours across critical operational and social responsibility areas.

The awards, themed “Beyond Prices: Consumer Trust, Digital Experience & Brand Accountability,” organised by BrandXchange, confirmed MTN Nigeria’s dominance in the following categories.

According to Chief Customer Relations and Experience Officer, MTN Nigeria, Ugonwa Nwoye, MTN took home awards for “Best Green Energy Adoption by a Company” (winner with 53% of nationwide consumer votes),

“Best Customer Service Telecoms Brand” (winner with 54% of nationwide consumer votes), “Most Reliable Internet Service Provider” (winner with 66% of nationwide consumer votes), and “Best CSR Initiative by a Corporate Brand (MTN Foundation)” (winner with 73% of nationwide consumer votes).

Reflecting on the achievement, Nwoye said the quadruple win is a powerful testament to the deep trust and satisfaction the Nigerian public holds for the MTN brand, adding: “These awards stand as proof of our customers’ trust and loyalty, which remain at the core of all that we do.

“We are committed to delivering exceptional service, sustainable practices, and meaningful social impact. This recognition motivates us to continue innovating and ensuring that every interaction with MTN meets the highest standards of quality and responsibility.”

Nwoye said the sheer volume of consumer votes, 53% for Green Energy Adoption and 54% for Customer Service, validates MTN’s strategic focus on the Nigerian consumer. The awards reflect the company’s unwavering dedication to consumer-centric innovation, service excellence, and sustainable business practices.

He noted that winning the “Most Reliable Internet Service Provider” award confirms that the company’s investment in network infrastructure and technology is translating directly into stable, high-quality connectivity for millions of subscribers—paramount in today’s digital economy.

“The award for ‘Best Green Energy Adoption by a Company’ highlights the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship. This recognition comes from a consumer base that is increasingly conscious of corporate accountability and the imperative of a sustainable future.

He disclosed that beyond its commercial triumphs, MTN Nigeria was also recognised for the impactful work of its philanthropic arm, the MTN Foundation, which won the award for “Best CSR Initiative by a Corporate Brand.”
