José Mourinho has responded to growing speculation linking him with a return to Real Madrid, insisting his full attention remains on his current job at Benfica.
Recent reports in Spain suggested Mourinho could emerge as a candidate if Real Madrid decide to make a managerial change at the end of the season.
The Portuguese coach, however, has made it clear that he is not looking beyond Benfica.
“My only target is Benfica,” Mourinho said when asked about the rumours surrounding a possible return to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Mourinho also helped re-establish Madrid as a dominant force in Europe, setting the stage for the club’s remarkable run of Champions League success in the years that followed.
Despite the speculation, Mourinho remains focused on Benfica’s objectives as the season enters its decisive phase.
For now, a return to Madrid appears unlikely, with the veteran manager firmly committed to the challenge in Lisbon.
