A financial operations platform, Morney, has been launched in Nigeria, targeting businesses seeking to digitise their finance processes as electronic invoicing gains momentum across the country.
The platform, developed by Morzoe Technologies Inc., is being introduced into the Nigerian market through a partnership with BuySimply Services Limited.
Speaking on the development, head of growth at BuySimply, ’Mide Olubi, said many organisations in Nigeria continue to rely on fragmented systems such as emails and spreadsheets to manage financial operations. He noted that this approach often leads to inefficiency, delays in approvals and payments, limited visibility and increased risk of errors.
Olubi said the ongoing shift toward electronic invoicing and tax digitisation in Nigeria is forcing businesses to adopt more structured and transparent systems. According to him, manual processes are no longer sustainable in a regulatory environment that demands proper documentation and real-time tracking of financial activities.

Morney provides an integrated platform for managing payments, procurement, expenses and invoicing within a single system. The solution enables organisations to automate workflows, enforce approval processes and monitor transactions in real time, thereby improving operational efficiency and accountability.
In addition, the platform supports supplier onboarding, invoice processing and the management of operational spending, helping businesses maintain organised and auditable financial records.
The company stated that organisations across sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, energy, banking and telecommunications, are already adopting the platform to strengthen financial control.
It added that the Nigerian launch reflects a broader shift toward digital financial operations as businesses respond to evolving regulatory requirements and increasing demand for efficiency.
