Monaco have completed the permanent signing of Spanish forward Ansu Fati from Barcelona in an €11 million deal.

The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at the Ligue 1 club until June 2030.

After arriving in France seeking a fresh start, Fati rediscovered his best form during the 2025/26 season, making 30 appearances across all competitions, including 13 starts.

He established himself as a key player for Monaco, scoring 12 goals at an impressive rate of one every 110 minutes, the best conversion ratio in Ligue 1.

The move marks another milestone in the revival of the La Masia graduate, whose promising career was disrupted by recurring injuries.Once tipped as Lionel Messi’s successor at Barcelona, Fati has also earned 10 caps and scored twice for the Spanish national team.
