Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro may have contacted two players to be on standby to join the team in the United Arab Emirate training camp, reports owngoalnigeria.com.

The Portuguese coach has lined up the duo of Nice forward, Terem Moffi and Antwerp of Belgium midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf as a possible replacement for the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, who are both suffering from knocks.

Already, the coach of Leicester City, Enzo Maresca has cast doubt over the Nigerians participating in the tournament, which will begin on January 14 with Nigeria playing Equatorial Guinea in the first match on January 15.
