“Dear professor Uzorma, the God we serve, in whom we have freedom, has done it in my life. I challenged a witch from my community through the instruction of my Pastor some years ago and she promised dealing with me. I thought it was a joke. She did it and I saw it with my eyes. My containers were ceased for no reason; my business started falling to the extent that I sold six of my shops at Onitsha Main Market. For over four years I never sold any goods in my ware-house. My children school fees became difficult for me to pay, no food and I became a laughing stock for my enemies. My Pastor that led me into such temptation left me to my fate when my money finished, the witch made mess of my entire life. I sold all my property and was seriously having Blood Pressure (BP). The worse thing that she did to me for challenging her was to stop my wife from delivering my baby. For two years now my wife has been pregnant without delivering courtesy of the witch. She has always boasted before everybody in my village of being behind my woes. To cut the whole story short, when my friend introduced me to your column, and asked me to order your oil, I never believed him because of my experience in the hands of some men of God. By the grace of God when he assisted me to order your oil, I did the prayer the first time, and did not get any good result, I then contacted you and you asked me to order the oil the second time which I did also. I was shocked to notice that the witch slept and did not wake up again; the whole community rejoiced. Two days after her death, my wife had her baby and it is a miracle that the baby is alive. My business is gradually picking up again, all those owing me have paid me and I have regained four of my shops. As I am writing this to you I have been invited to do a supply to a company that rejected me for over five years. I am happy that God has done it in my life and in my time…there are more to talk sir but I will like to see you for the first time…”

“May the name of the Lord be praised sir. My testimony is something that I never believed it was going to happen so soon. I was afflicted with all kinds of sickness through my dreams, I thought it was a joke until I woke up one morning and saw a plate of food cooked by an unknown person or persons. The plate of rice was very hot and oozing smoke; I became afraid and ran out of my house by 5am. Though that same night, I heard several noises in my room that made it uncomfortable for me to sleep. Sir, I was doing well in my business and could boast of God’s provision and blessings. Due to this attack, I became very poor because I lost all I had. To God be the glory after engaging in the prayer you instructed me, during the anointing something like a big vulture flew out of my body by 7pm last month. He was a graduate of Lagos State University. Though, while in school he was attached to many secret clubs and fraternities. He was also interested in reading occult books. It came to pass that he repented and began to go to a Pentecostal church. An elder in his church became his friend and he also introduced him to the demonic cycle where he {the elder} belonged to. This young convert joined this cult with the belief that every religion is one.
When the cult wanted to send somebody to represent them in one of their meetings, the young man was appointed; they anointed him, prayed for him and “blessed” him, and finally sent him to choose his course. He decided to be a preacher thus they ordained him.
Before this time, they gave him a wife and he married and wedded in a Gospel church. When his ministry began, he was much happy. The higher initiates of the cult told him that, “to accelerate on a higher degree of miracles you must sacrifice your son”. This he found very difficult because he has only a baby boy. After many negotiations, he decided to obey them. Today he is well known. Pentecostal Demonism!
Dear reader, what is greater than life and faith in Jesus Christ? The Bible says: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:36-37.
“For there shall arise false Christ, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” Matt. 24:24.
False prophets are the workers of iniquity. They are not sent by God yet they pretend to be speaking the mind of God; while in reality they entirely disrobe the garment of righteousness. Thus they cloth truth with falsehood, grafting righteousness upon unrighteousness, preaching the message of error that sin can be forgiven when it is not confessed nor forsaken, as a result they send many to hell. Yes, they err from the great reality! They are the workers of iniquity who preach love but hatred is in their hearts.
Beloved in Christ, your sins can be forgiven and withheld consequent upon the degree of your repentance and disobedience. What does this mean to you O earthly shepherds? It means that so long as you continue to use mechanized power in working miracles, you live as a worker of iniquity and if you refuse to repent and accept the true message of repentance, you shall die as a stranger in the hands of a stranger.
We are witnessing a great deal of ministries who from time to time emphasizes on miracles. I believe in miracle but not in magic. God is the worker of miracle while Satan and his agents are workers of magic. Majority of people are carried away with miracles without salvation on the other hand, they want blessings without receiving ‘THE BLESSER’. Because of this great misplacement of reality, Satan now sends his workers as messengers of the true God, to meet the selfish desires of the gullible masses.
At the risk of repeating myself, I believe in miracle divinely wroth by God. If I may ask: What is a miracle? Yes, there are many theological and philosophical definitions attached to it. But permit me to say that a miracle is an event beyond the power of any known physical law to produce. That is to say, a physical law cannot produce miracle, but God is not bound by the physical law he does things above the law. Praise God!
In the physical system of reality, man is being controlled by the natural laws and one of the ways to capturing his attention is for God to do something that will transcend the physical law which controls the human mind. This is further seen in the way God called Prophet Moses. Moses saw a flame of fire burning in the bush but the bush was not consumed thus he was bamboozled and attracted hence it was beyond the physical law. Stating the amazement of Moses the Bible says: “And Moses said I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt” Exo.3:3
