Mpakaboari LongJohn Foundation has concluded plans about its upcoming “Succour Africa Tour” which will be kicked off in Nigeria soon.
The date of the event which will see fans from far and near come to catch a glimpse of their favourite artistes will also be revealed soon as well as line up artistes.
The maiden edition of the concert is organized by the founder of the non-profit organization, Ambassador Mpakaboari LongJohn, is aimed at bringing people together to have fun, while also showcasing the talents of budding artistes in the industry.
Mpakaboari LongJohn Foundation’s works during the lockdown caused by COVID-19 such as emergency assistance, work opportunities, and community engagement for hip-hop and Afrobeats musicians was documented as music project titled “Succour”, an astute experience in Afro musicianship.
Succour album which represents the struggles and success stories of musicians during the hard times has five solid songs in it, this includes Relief, All that matters, Yours, Breathe, and Redolence.
According to Mpaka LongJohn, net proceeds from sales of the release of the album on various digital streaming platforms will benefit MLJ Foundation’s Musicians’ Emergency Fund, which was established recently.
Mpaka further disclosed that many artistes and music executives in Nigeria are also involved in the project to assist the sector of the music industry that submitted to inactivity during the lockdown.

With his MLJ Foundation, LongJohn has catered for many artistes and other people in the industry in the past to support their career and create a conducive environment for talented young Nigerians.
