Misters of Nigeria unveils finalists for 2026 edition as “impact is imminent”

The organizers of the prestigious Misters of Nigeria competition have officially unveiled the finalists for the 2026 edition, marking a major milestone in the journey toward the grand finale scheduled for April.

The announcement was made on March 15, 2026 by 97th Entertainment Ltd, the body responsible for producing the national male pageant. This year’s competition carries the theme “Impact is Imminent,” emphasizing leadership, influence, and social responsibility among young Nigerian men.

According to the organizers, the selection process began with hundreds of entries from across Nigeria, from which 37 contestants were shortlisted to participate in an intensive competition phase over the past few months. During this period, the contestants competed in 12 challenges designed to test intelligence, character, physical fitness, communication skills, and community impact.

At the conclusion of the challenges, 17 contestants emerged victorious, securing their places as the official finalists for the 2026 edition of the competition.

The finalists represent different states across the country and will now advance to the grand finale where one of them will be crowned the next Mister of Nigeria.

– ⁠Joseph Nnamdi Hejieto — Zamfara
– ⁠Abel Okanya — Borno
– ⁠Samuel Asuquo — Bauchi
– ⁠Kelechi Chiazor Amonu-Jones — Imo
– ⁠Ezeuko Chukubueze Markdonald — Adamawa

The grand finale will take place on April 23, 2026 at the renowned MUSON Centre in Lagos, where the finalists will compete for the coveted national title.

At the end of the event, one contestant will be crowned Mister of Nigeria 2026, earning a mouth-watering prize package and the opportunity to represent Nigeria on the international stage.

With anticipation already building among pageant enthusiasts and supporters across the country, the 2026 edition promises a spectacular celebration of charisma, leadership, and national pride as these seventeen finalists prepare to make their final bid for the crown.
