Egunyinka Oluwatosin Alexandra, an Oyo state born model is set to fly Nigeria’s flag at The Miss Globe 2022 World Finals to be held at the Opera Theater Tirana, Albania, on Saturday, 15th October.
Sharing a picture with the Nigerian flag at the airport, the model captioned the post on her Instagram page: “Today, I wear my country’s sash across my heart as I leave for Albania to represent Nigeria at the Miss Globe 2022 World Finals. I am so grateful for the love and support that you all have showed me . I promise to put my best foot forward and make you all proud . To my organization The Beauty of Africa International Pageant (BAIP), thank you so much for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Long Live Africa, Long Live Nigeria”.
The pageant, in its 19th edition is one of the premier female fashion and pageant competition which play host to delegates from across the world.
Emerald was crowned the 4th Runner-up in the 14th edition of the Beauty of Africa International Pageant ( BAIP) 2021 Finals held in Bayelsa state.
The dental technologist and ECOWAS ambassador will hope to be first African delegate to win the highly prestigious Miss Globe title.
