The Mayor of Urhoboland, Eshanekpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro, has lambasted those he described as “mischief makers” and “blackmailers” for their incessant protests against leaders in the Niger Delta region.
In a statement, Akpodoro asserted that no amount of blackmail and calculated conspiracies can tarnish the commendable achievements of High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo, alias Tompolo, Chairman and CEO of Tantita Security Services Nig LTD.
Akpodoro praised Tompolo’s firm for successfully chasing out oil thieves from the region’s creeks, commending his outstanding leadership.
Hr also defended the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, (PAP) Dr. Burutu Otuaro, and the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Ltd, (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, against allegations of misconduct.

His statement was in reaction to a recent protest in Abuja, where a group of youths alleged that the office of the administrator of PAP was involved in financial misconduct, stressing that the protests were mere campaign of calumny aimed at discrediting the leaders of the Niger Delta region.
He commended the High Chief Keston Pondi-led TSSNL management, saying but for the steadfastness of the Managing Director who he described as a team leader, oil thieves would still be having a field day in the region.
As a prominent leader in the region, Akpodoro’s endorsement of Tompolo and other leaders underscores the importance of unity and cooperation in the face of adversity. His statement serves as a reminder that the progress made by these leaders should not be undermined by baseless allegations and malicious campaigns.
