Former Benue APC guber candidate, Dr. Roseline Ada Chenge has stated that President Bola Tinubu will appoint competent technocrats and qualified professionals to fill up various ministries.

Dr. Chenge, an ambassador of Peace, UN-POLAC, who spoke during an interview on TVC morning breakfast show noted that Nigerians are very hopeful about the current administration to yield good dividends of democracy.

She posted that Tinubu has the leadership qualities, acumen and the ability to turn challenges of the nation around into opportunities.

Discussing on the current cabinet formation and expectations of Nigerians, she equally applauded President Tinubu for appointing George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Dr. Chenge said: “Nigerians have a lot of hope for this current government. The hope is that Mr. President (Tinubu) is going to fish out very high professionals and qualified technocrats for various ministries.

“We have confidence in him because of his track-record of providing very good leadership in the past, and also assembling competent hands.

“This time around, it won’t be story as usual. The ministers make or mar any administration. If we must move forward, we must look at competence above any other thing.

“If things are not done the right way according to how it should be, a lot of things will go wrong. A government is judged by its performance and output after a period of time.”

Speaking on women inclusion in the Tinubu’s cabinet formation, Chenge said: “I’m not expecting anything less than 25%, I will be glad if Mr. President increases it to 40%. I believe Nigerian women will get something more because Mr. President loves inclusion.
