Tensions in the Middle East have escalated after United States President Donald Trump warned Iran of severe consequences following attacks on key energy infrastructure in the Gulf.
The warning came after Israel struck Iran’s South Pars gas field, prompting Tehran to retaliate with missile attacks on targets in Qatar, including the Ras Laffan industrial facility.
Trump, in a post on his Truth Social platform, distanced the United States from the initial strike but issued a strong warning that any further attacks on Qatar would trigger massive retaliation against Iran’s gas assets.

The continuous conflict has raised fears of a broader regional conflict, with energy infrastructure becoming a key target.
Analysts warn that continued attacks could disrupt global oil and gas supplies, as the region accounts for a significant share of the world’s energy output.
Qatar has condemned the strikes, while Middle East tensions and global powers continue to rise, fueling concerns over worldwide economic and security risks.
“NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar – In which instance the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before,” the US president wrote.
