General Overseer, MFM Ministry Worldwide, Dr Daniel Olukoya, Mike Marvelous Akinola, National Coordinator, GMOV North, and Pharm. Olusetire Johnson and the team of Gods Men of Valour Executive have empowered large number of menfolk in the church with both skills and economic empowerment.
This was at the ground-breaking Conference MFM held in Abuja which focused on economic empowerment, inspiring growth, and transforming the lives of men in the church.
The summit also featured an exhibition of works of men from MFM churches in the Northern Region, and Eagle Hour Fellowship for VIPs held at Transcorp Hotel.
For three transformative days, thousands of participants from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and 18 states in the North gathered at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries’ God’s Men of Valour (GMOV) North inaugural men’s deliverance and economic empowerment conference held at the MFM International Headquarters Annex, Wuye, Abuja.
The conference with theme; “Challenge: Fear not, stand firm,” was a ground-breaking event aimed at empowering men and equipping them with vital business skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in all areas of life.
The conference which was presided over by the visionary leadership of Dr Olukoya, and featured deliverance messages and paryer sessions, inspiring presentations, impactful business empowerment messages, and an impressive exhibition showcasing entrepreneurial spirit and innovation was aimed to help empower men and train them in business skills.
Olukoya, admonished them that man is the central figure in God’s plan, stressing that God is looking for men, real men who know the reason God made the men.
The event also featured interactive sessions where participants asked Olukoya, questions intending to find lasting solutions.
It was well organised by team of executives led by MFM GMOV North National Coordinator, Engineer Mike Marvelous Bayo Akinola, Bro Thompson O.S. Douglas along with 44 other dedicated members from various MFM regions in FCT and the entire North 18 states.
In his opening remarks and prayers Engineer . Dr. Mike Marvelous Akinola National Coordinator of GMOV North emphasized that men should strive to retain wealth after they have made it, while Bro. Thompson Douglas gave a pivotal talk on “GMOV Philosophy, Methodologies, and Procedures – Key to Spiritual Growth and Economic Empowerment,” setting the tone for the conference.
Akinola, described the conference as a vehicle of unending economic prosperity and a platform for men to discover themselves.
Akinola said, “The first edition of this conference is to empower all participants, especially our men, to learn new skills and to be self-sufficient. It is to end poverty and ensure that the people enjoy peace and prosperity.
“It will increase men’s organisational effectiveness and growth, positively impact them, boost their economic diversification and, in turn, support their economic resilience, and teach them how to access markets and have control over resources.”
Speaking on vision of God’s Men of Valour (GMOV) , it’s successful stories and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes for both members, non-members, the church and host communities, Akinola added that the mission of GMOV is to raise sanctified men who will through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit significantly impact their familes , the church, societies, and take the nation for Christ.
He explained that GMOV mission is to change the lives of men by : Making them discover themselves, bringing them closer to God, encouraging them to become men of integrity as well as men of significant impact in their families and society at large.
He said the group constantly gives food gifting, cash gifts to widows, orphans, members and non-members to bring succour to them and boost their business; as well as embarked on several Evangelism programmes in line with the Solution/Explosive Evangelism Initiative(EEI) of the General Overseer, such as Food Evangelism for Prison inmates as well as helped create employment opportunities for members, train members in different skills with starter packs to start up their own businesses.

A highlight of the conference was the presentation of awards to key figures who demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to empowerment. Dr. Olukoya was honoured for his visionary leadership and dedication to empowering men. Pastor Kunle Adesanya was recognized for his tireless efforts in promoting economic empowerment among men. Pastor Edwin Etomi (SRO) was celebrated for his inspirational guidance and support. Pastor Bolaji Olumide David (RO-SD) was honoured for his uncommon commitment and support, among other recipients.
