One of America’s most celebrated  authors, Stephen King, said: “Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.” The real conquerors are those whose glimmer of hope were put out by artificial limitations but relentlessly pushed on to achieve their dreams.

The above is very true of burgeoning Nigerian singer, Okolie Destiny, fondly referred to as Amas Destiny, who did not let the thorns of the harsh elements in this clime suffocate his childhood  dream of becoming a known music sensation. The song writer, who is the first of four children, perspired to ensure that his success story is written for all to see.

Amas Destiny hails from Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State. He was born and raised in Benin City, Edo State, but the desire to chase his lifelong ambition of n stardom though the music pathway inspired him in life. The 25-year-old bagged a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the Federal Polytechnic in Auchi, Edo, after his primary and secondary education.

Speaking in a recent question and answer session with entertainment journalists, Amas Destiny shed light on his background and how his journey as an entertainer started.

“I’m from Delta State, but I was born and brought up in Edo State. I am presently residing in the commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos, which is also the entertainment nerve centre of west Africa, if not the continent. I started my music carrier way back in the day as a young boy.

*My parents used to tell me that i have always loved to sing, even when I was a little boy. But it was in 2020, that I had to make use of a recording studio to sing and perform a song and that was officially when my journey started”, added Amas Destiny.

Speaking on his background, Okolie Destiny said, ” I grew up as the first child among four siblings. I had to focus on growing up as a man of my own, facing the musical world and seeking knowledge. I finished my primary and secondary schools in Benin City, and later proceeded to the Federal Polytechnic in Auchi, Edo State for my tertiary education”/
