UK-based Nigerian musician, Ayobami Abioye aka Sarche, has said that his steady rise in the London Afrobeats scene is as a result of his musical background.

“I’ve always been surrounded by different genres of music right from my tender age, listening to the likes of legendary Afrobeat pioneers like Fela Kuti. But icons like 2Face, Wande Coal, and Wizkid inspired me. Drawing inspiration from these music greats helped me hone my craft and develop my own unique sound,” he disclosed.

Speaking on his new single, Mean Something due for release on Monday March 13, Sarche said: “It is an exciting new release that promises to showcase my unique style and talent in the Afrobeats genre. With a catchy and energetic beat, the single is sure to get fans dancing and singing along.”
