The Managing Director, Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi has commended the Federal Government over the decision to construct a N150b rail line project in Kano City.
Bichi in a statement at the weekend described the multi – billion project which has been captured in the 2025 budget as another expression of the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, the ambitious project would revolutionize transportation in Kano city, aside from enhancing connectivity, facilitating trade, and boosting economic growth.

” The railway line will not only improve the quality of life for residents but also position Kano as a hub for commerce and industry” he further declared.
He insisted that the 2025 budget projections of N18.32 trillion as revenue and N 27.50 trillion as expenditure was a clear path for Nigeria’s fiscal future.
He acknowledged the untiring efforts of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje towards the nation building and commended the contributions of the member representing Bichi Fedeeal Constituency in House of Reps.,Abubakar to infrastructural development.
